Nana and Papa

Dear Lydia,
My parents love you. You are their first grandchild. I know that our family has it's issues but the most important thing to remember is that Heavenly Father has given us charge to take care of and love our families. We were sent to the families we are in for reasons that are sometimes hard to see at times. One of the most important uses of the character of forgivness is within the family. We went to visit Great Grandma McBride and grandma chased you around because i was so pregnant. Every one in the recovery home thought you were pretty cute and so did i.

Month 16: Hot stuff

Dear Lydia,
I'm slightly hoping your a girly-girl juts because I am. Sometimes your a little bit like my baby doll. I doll you up and have been known to spend some money on your clothes. :) It's like mommies version of barbie. You don't like putting clothes on and sometimes I make you do it a couple times in one day, i apologize. I hope you don't have bad memories. You love shoes and you are always playing with them. I would think it was just because you know they mean you get to go outside but you put daddy's shoes on too but you defiantly cant walk in those. Especially since his flip flops end up on your ankles. Doing your hair is a small struggle but your a toddler. You have started asking me to put your bows back in instead of taking them out but if there is nothing to play with it is still the first thing to go. You try to put  your headbands on too but it usually a mess. Whatever you grow up to be I just hope you always feel as beautiful as i think you are. With those bright blue crystal eyes and those gorge lips that love to kiss. Pretty much all the time your daddy and i talk about how much more beautiful you are than us, how you got the best of both of us. I love you girly. Always know how much you are worth. Don't cast your pearls before swine because you are our everything. We are so lucky your Heavenly Father picked us for you.

Playing at the park

 Dear Lydia,
Look how much fun you have at the park. It just barely got warm enough so we went and at lunch (chicken nuggets and fries) and played in the breezy sun. Once you go over trying to eat the mulch we took you for a ride down the slide. Daddy dropped you and i caught you. Yes that green one there in the picture. It was kinda of scary for me but it was like a roller coaster for you-scary but exhilarating.

So we went back a couple days latter with Ashley and Bella.
It's fun having a park by our house. But you did try a little too hard to get up the stairs - you fell on your face and bit your lip and bled on my shoulder. So we went home to Teddy Grams and The Little Mermaid.
Love you.
