Dear Lydia,
You are a doll, baby. Your almost 2. We -me and you- get frustrated but terrible is not the word for it. You are a great child. You strive to be helpful and obedient with only one year under your belt. Yes there are tantrums but they are out of not being able to understand. You don't like the word "wait" but who does. ;) I get mad/annoyed sometimes. Only when you make a huge mess with something that is "not a toy" or when you think I'm a jungle gym. We play. But you always have to be near me. You call it "lap". Most of the time I love that you love to touch, cuddle and play all over me but sometimes I need a break. :) Thats where "show" comes in and I send you to watch the Disney channel. :)
The other day you got into the greeting cards from our wedding that I still have yet to do something with and you had them all over the front room. I was bugged, I pointed to the ground and said, "No!" and you looked at me, considered that and took your little hand pointed to the ground and said, "No!" I just cracked up. You say funny things all the time, mostly because you mock me.
Daddy says your minnie me, that we are the same person. I always wanted a girl first, so she could be my best friend. I hope that works out well for us. I hope we always understand each other. Right now we are best friends. We are both super sensitive daddy says, but he would say that because he is not very sensitive.
You have nightmares but one hug form me makes it all better. I hope it stays that way. You play with books ALL day long. You hand them to me and say, "Thank You", over and over again. You love to read just like me. We even watch princess movies together, i can only watch them once.
I don't know whats with you and barbies. You like undress them and then contort their bodies and leave them in the middle of the floor. Your going to have to help your brother out and stop that. Lets keep them modest. ;) Poor Barbie.
Oh my do you love your brother. I have to strap him into everything so you don't try to pick him up when I look away. You giggle like nothing else when you hold him and touch his head and give him "softies".
Oh how I love you.
Mommy
