4th of July

Dear Lydia,
When daddy and I were little we never went to the parade with our families. However, I was a little envious of those who did so we took you. Maybe it will grow to be a tradition like fireworks at Murray Park has. You sure liked it this year. You even stopped a float dead in the street. Either he was worried he would run you over or he did it so you could touch it because you just kept saying "wow". Sorry we didn't let you eat all the candy. Your two.
Love mom.

After the Parade we went and got Waffle Love and ate it at Grandma Donna's house. Then we went home and had nap time and got ready to go fireworks with everyone. This was the first year Austin sat with us and the West family. You were pretty funny. I bought you this light stick that you just ran a round with. The kid on the blanket next to us kept referring to you as "The Guardian". Then you decided you needed to lay down in between Austin and his girlfriend Kali and then Kaley and her boyfriend Andy. You just switched off between the two.
